Transportation

For Elementary Students Attending Dr. Donald Massey School

Please refer to the Dr. Donald Massey School Map.

If you live within the walk boundary (green area on the map):
Transportation will not be provided to students living in the school's neighbourhood walk boundary.

If you live outside the walk boundary but within the 2.4 km boundary (purple area on the map):
Service will be provided via fewer stops, located centrally within each of the designated attending neighbourhoods.

For junior high students attending Dr. Donald Massey School

Edmonton Transit is the only transportation offered for junior high students.

For students living in the neighbourhood, but not attending Dr. Donald Massey School

Student Transportation provides service for elementary students attending alternative programs, or District Centre special needs programs at schools outside of our school attendance areas. Guidelines for service provision can be found at http://transportation.epsb.net or by calling Student Transportation at 780-429-8585.

Applying for elementary yellow bus service

Step 1: Submit an application for yellow bus service to the office of their current school. Current students of Dr. Donald Massey and students new to Edmonton Public Schools may submit their application to Dr. Donald Massey School.

Step 2: Return your completed application form to the school your child is currently attending.

When you have been approved, you will receive a letter from Student Transportation or information may be posted to Schoolzone by mid August with the following information:

  • Yellow bus route number
  • Bus company contact information
  • Pickup and drop off schedules and stop locations
